Griha Pravesh refers to the ritualistic entry into a new house for the first time. According to Vastu Shastra and Hindu traditions, it should be performed on an auspicious muhurat with proper Vedic puja to invoke divine energies.

📖 Griha Pravesh Puja Vidhi (Step-by-Step Ritual)

🔹 Before the Puja

  • Clean and purify the house thoroughly.
  • Decorate the main entrance with mango leaves, marigold toran, and rangoli.
  • Set up the Kalash and Mandap in the puja room or northeast corner.

🔸 Main Rituals of Griha Pravesh Puja

  1. Ganesh Puja
    To remove obstacles and ensure a smooth beginning.
  2. Kalash Sthapana
    Place a copper or silver Kalash filled with water, mango leaves, and a coconut at the entrance or in the home temple.
  3. Navagraha Shanti Havan
