🕉️ Daily Puja Vidhi – Step-by-Step Guide
1. Preparation (Shuddhi)
- Take a bath and wear clean clothes (preferably cotton or traditional attire).
- Clean the puja space and altar (mandir) using water or a damp cloth.
- Light a diya (lamp) with ghee or sesame oil.
- Light incense (agarbatti) or dhoop to purify the surroundings.
2. Sankalp (Resolve)
- Sit facing East or North.
- Place a few drops of water on your palm and take a sankalp (resolve), mentally stating your name, day, and purpose of worship (like peace, prosperity, devotion).
- You may say:
“Mama samasta duritakshaya-dvāra Shri Parameshwar preetyartham aham pujanam karishye.”
