Margashirsha Month (also called Agrahayana or Magsar Maas) begins on Monday, 17 November 2025. This holy lunar month holds a special place in Hinduism as it is considered dear to Lord Krishna. In the Bhagavad Gita (10.35), Lord Krishna says — “Māsānām Mārgaśīrṣo ’ham”, meaning “Among all months, I am Margashirsha”, signifying its divine and spiritual importance.
