🐄 24 November 2025 – Gopashtami

Gopashtami 2025 will be celebrated on Monday, 24 November 2025.
This sacred festival honors Lord Krishna and the divine cows (Gau Mata), symbolizing the deep spiritual and cultural connection between humans, cows, and nature in Hindu dharma. It falls on the Shukla Paksha Ashtami Tithi of the Kartika month.

🌸 Significance of Gopashtami:

According to Hindu scriptures, on this day, Lord Krishna was promoted from tending calves (Vatsapalan) to herding cows (Gopalan) — marking his transition into greater responsibility. Hence, Gopashtami celebrates Krishna as Govinda, the protector and nurturer of cows and dharma.

It also highlights the spiritual importance of Gau Seva (cow service), which is believed to bring prosperity, happiness, and divine blessings to the household.
